Otakon Weather 2011
It looks like Saturday is going to suck….
Thursday: low of 82 / high of 96 partly cloudy with the heat index will fill like near 110.
Friday: low of 85 / high of 100 partly cloudy with the heat index will feel like 115.
Saturday: low 82 / high 102 40% chances of thunderstorms with the heat index will feel like 120
Sunday: low 79 / high 98 chances of thunderstorms with heat index will feel near 110.
Guys remember to drink lots of water and try and stay as cool as possible. Thunderstorms if they happen will likely be in the evenings.

Please feel free to use my ask page to request any series that you would like me to take photos of specifically along with any of the convention meet-ups/shoots that you would like me to attend and take photographs of, along with any information that you have for those shoots. I will try to go to as many as possible but because I will also be cosplaying at Otakon there are some that may conflict with meet-ups/shoots that I am already attending due to what I am personally cosplaying or what a friend of mine is cosplaying. As I get requests I will add the shoots that I am going to to this post.

Otakon Schedule is Now Up - Any Requests?
So the Otakon schedule is now up are there any events that you would like me to take photos at or anything else like that? If there, just post which ones here as an Answer or send it via my ask box.
Bad News
My new camera and my computer have both been detroyed. right now they are turning on but doing nothing so I am crossing my finger that everything will work once it’s been dried out, if not then it’s my old camera I will have to be using at Otakon and there will be limited uploads during the conventions until I can get home and upload it all to the internet via my mother’s computer.

Kind of an Update
So my new camera came in to mail. My old Kodak Easy Share was not only getting on in the years but also getting totes crappy. My new camera is 16 MP and records video in HD. I even got it for way less then my old camera so I’m pretty excited about it. The only problem is that the battery only lasts 1hr and 40mins at the most. I ordered a second battery so that I can just swap out the battery when it dies. My main concern is going to be getting through the Masqurade on such a limited battery life.
Other then that please don’t forget to give me any requests that you may have here (you can submit anonymously too). You can find the requests list for Otakon here I’ve looked through the meet ups and photo shoots list on cosplay.com and have started to work out my schedule as far as those go but will not have anything 100% until Otakon has released their schedule for the convention. I should have my finalized schedule as far as where I will be and when I will be there prior to the convention.
Good Idea, Bad Idea?
Would using a business card so that people I photograph will be able to find at least one or two of the pictures taken of them over the course of the convention be a bad idea? My main hang up on this isn’t about the money it will cost to make the cards, but the fact that I am not a professional photographer. Is it just me or does that sort of thing seem a bit obnoxious?
I so am printing this out before every convention I go to.
